In this expanded role, Eddy will oversee the editorial content and design of the publication’s print and digital versions; continue to serve as a liaison between the magazine and game-industry publishers and developers; and ensure that @GAMER utilizes the most talented and knowledgeable journalists to deliver its readers the most timely and entertaining content possible.
Eddy possesses more than 20 years of gaming journalism before and during his tenure as @GAMER Magazine’s executive editor. His articles have appeared in numerous media, including Time Magazine, Variety and Wired, among others. He has also written for such business and finance publications as Businessweek, Forbes and the Wall Street Journal on the business and culture of gaming. Eddy has also authored and co-authored several books, including one of the first game-related strategy guides, “Beyond the Nintendo Masters” with Clayton Walnum; penned two editions of a book about entertainment sources on the early days of the Internet, “Internet After Hours”; and added chapters and a photo history about Nintendo for a reprinting of one of the most respected game-industry books of all time, “Game Over: Press Start to Continue”
