Jonathan Simpson-Bint

President

Jonathan joined Future Publishing in 1991 and came to the U.S. in 1993 as part of the original Future Network USA management team. Between 1994 and 1999 Jonathan launched a number of highly successful products including the magazines Next Generation and PSM: 100% Independent PlayStation Magazine , and web portals IGN.com and DailyRadar.com. In 2001 Jonathan was named President of Future Network USA and also served a stint as Publisher of Official Xbox Magazine. In 2002 the company turned its first ever profit since its inception, nine years ago. Most recently Jonathan has overseen the acquisition of Guitar World and its sibling publications Bass, Acoustic and Legends from Harris Publications as well as that of Guitar One from Cherry Lane Magazines.

Jonathan lives in the Bay Area with his wife and children. His personal credo is "Work hard. Give your best to the world." He unashamedly stole this from Yoko Ono.

John Sutton

Vice President/CFO

John joined Future US in August 2006 as the CFO. John began his career in Boston in 1985 working in Public Accounting, and moved to the bay area in 1988. After working in the San Francisco office of BDO Seidman, John began what has turned out to be a lengthy career in Finance at publishing companies. John worked for Miller Freeman (MFI) from 1993 until 2000 as the VP of Finance, and was there during a period of extraordinary growth for the company. John was an instrumental part of the acquisition team that helped acquire CMP Media and was also there for the integration of the two businesses. John also was an integral part of the management team that prepared a large portion of MFI for its eventual sale to VNU Media in 2000. After leaving MFI, John accepted a the role of CFO at Fawcette Technical Publications. John remained there for 5 challenging and rewarding years, just prior to coming to Future. John is a graduate of Boston College and currently lives in San Francisco.

Simon Whitcombe

SVP/Publishing Director Games, Music and Future Plus

Simon Whitcombe is the Senior Vice President/Publishing Director of the Games, Music and Future Plus Groups at Future US, Inc. Whitcombe oversees Future's market-leading official games publications as well as Sony's Qore platform and GamesRadar.com in addition to Future's leading music titles Guitar World and Revolver and Future's custom publishing division Future Plus.

With a career that spans over 14 years in the video gaming industry, Whitcombe has cultivated a sophisticated understanding of the market. He has leveraged his expertise to launch key Future US video gaming brands including Official Xbox Magazine and third highest ranked gaming Web site GamesRadar. He has also been instrumental in directing and developing market-leading titles including PSM: Independent PlayStation, PC Gamer and video game industry news Web site Next Generation.

Throughout his prolific career, Whitcombe has a served at an impressive variety of media companies including Dennis Publishing in the UK and at such titles as Amiga Format, Edge, Total Nintendo and Zero Magazine. Directly prior to joining Future US, Whitcombe worked at IGN.com as Vice President/Network Director where was responsible for managing all aspects of the Web property including content strategy, acquisitions, marketing and revenue generation.

Whitcombe currently resides in San Francisco with his wife Alexis, son Owen and the family's pets.

Stacey Levy

VP/Publishing Director Technology, Pregnancy and Cycling.

Levy oversees the Technology and Living Divisions of Future including Maximum PC, Mac|Life, Pregnancy, CyclingNews.com and BikeRadar.com. Levy started her career at Future US in 2001, where her experience in consultative selling and building client relations led to a promotion as Associate Publisher of MacAddict. Within months, she led the team that rebranded Macaddict into Mac|Life, now the #1 Mac magazine at retail. As Group Publisher of Future's Technology Division, Levy continued the success of Mac|Life and maclife.com as well as managed the successful growth of Maximum PC as well as the relaunch of maximumpc.com this past June. Maximum PC remains a leader in the category and generates more revenue at newsstand than any other PC publication (and Wired).

Stacey lives in Danville with her husband and three children.

Tyson Daugherty

Vice President Internet Development

Daugherty is responsible for Future's internet development,marketing and business development. At Future, Tyson has overseen the GamesRadar (www.gamesradar.com) redesign (February 2008), launch of GuitarWorld Tabs (tabs.guitarworld.com), strategic partnership with N4G (http://www.n4g.com) and is currently working on developing online community initiatives. Recently, Tyson lead the acquisition of BallHype Inc. - the online news aggregation company and technology.

Tyson joined Future US as Head of Internet Development in September 2006, with 10 years of general management and business development experience in media and entertainment, including 6 years in digital media with a specialization in music and video games. Previously Tyson served as VP of Business Development at Bolt, Inc. where he ran the games division and focused on company wide buy side M&A and technology based strategic partnerships. Additionally, Tyson has served as the CEO and Co-Founder of two internet based media enterprises: Pixelfixx, Inc, a leader in tournament based online gaming for both casual and hardcore games, and Gigmania, Ltd., an online live music portal. Tyson founded DUMBO: Art Under the Bridge Festival (now in its 11th year) and iMEG, INSEAD Media Entertainment Group. Tyson holds an MBA from INSEAD.

Tyson lives in San Francisco with his wife.

Nancy Durlester DuBois

Director of Human Resources

Nancy has over 17 years in the publishing field, beginning her career at InfoWorld magazine. Nancy joined Future US in 1997 as the IT Director. As the Director of Central Services, Nancy oversees the IT, Facilities, HR and Corporate Marketing departments.

Nancy is a graduate of California State University, Chico where she earned a BS in Mass Communications/Public Relations with a Minor in Business.

Nancy lives just below the fog in San Francisco. Her spare time is spent traveling to tropical destinations, scuba diving and caring for her slightly neurotic but very lovable rescue greyhound named Goody.

Jon Phillips

Editorial Director

Jon has been with Future US since 1995, when he joined the company to serve as executive editor of The Net magazine. In 1997 he joined the staff of boot magazine, and when that PC technology title relaunched as Maximum PC, Jon became editor-in-chief and set new benchmarks in newsstand sales. In his current role of editorial director, Jon directly oversees the content development of Maximum PC, MacAddict, Windows Vista: The Official Magazine and Pregnancy. He also works with the editors of Future's gaming and action sports titles, and does forward-looking R&D to help the company explore other content areas. Jon is avid automotive enthusiast, and spends his leisure time on California race tracks -- the twisty kind -- driving sport and formula cars.

Brad Tolinski

Editorial Director

Born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, Brad Tolinski played guitar and electric violin in numerous bands until it became painfully clear at the age of 25 that he needed to find gainful employment. In the mid-Eighties he moved to New York City and became the Managing Editor of the groundbreaking magazine "Music, Computers & Software."

In 1989 he joined the staff of Guitar World magazine as Managing Editor and shortly thereafter became Editor-In-Chief, a position he has held ever since. He currently serves as Editorial Director of Future US's music division, which includes Guitar World and Revolver.

Brad lives in New Jersey with his wife Lorinda Sullivan, his two children Kane and Nico and his trusty dog, Jade.
