Peter Stothard named General Manager, Cycling & Action Sports
To oversee Future Snowboarding and cycling sites BikeRadar and Cyclingnews
South San Francisco, CA (March 13, 2008) – Peter Stothard has been named Future US’ general manager for outdoor sports, overseeing plans for Future Snowboarding magazine and its web site (www.futuresnowboarding.com), as well as the North American expansion of the CyclingNews.com and BikeRadar.com web sites.
Future US is a leading publisher of cutting-edge special interest magazines and websites.
Stothard comes to Future US with more than 14 years overseeing a portfolio of market-leading titles and web sites.
Stothard was instrumental in developing Future Publishing Ltd.’s Bike Radar.com and cycling magazine portfolio as well as managing the acquisition of CyclingNews.com, the world’s largest cycling web site. Previously, Stothard was Future Publishing Ltd.’s automotive publishing director, overseeing a dozen titles web sites as well as consumer events.
