Disc FAQs

 

DISC NOT WORKING? (PC Gamer)

 

Try these tips out before requesting a replacement:

1.  Be patient: It can take as long as a minute for our CD to spin up.

2.  Still not working? Open “My Computer” and right-click the drive that contains the PC Gamer CD. Select “Explore”, then double-click the icon labeled “PCGamer.exe”. The disc interface should open within one minute.

3. Still not working? It could be that you somehow received a damaged disc. You can “Request a Replacement Disc” and one will be sent to you.

 

DISC NOT WORKING? (Maximum PC)

 

Try this!

Open “My Computer”, right-click the drive that contains the Maximum PC CD, select “Explore”, double-click the pink icon labeled “Maxpc.exe”. If this does not work, then it could be that you somehow received a damaged disc. You can “Request a Replacement Disc” and one will be sent to you.
